Alive and kicking. The expansive piece of both Denver and Glendale between Mississippi, Evans, Cherry Creek South, and Colorado Boulevard is called Virginia Village. Just slightly east of central Denver, this neighborhood has everything you might need and more. The residential styles range from 1950s style ranches to high-rise condos, and there are plenty of apartment complexes too. A police headquarters, fire station, post office, and multitude of parks grace the area. On any given day, you’ll find joggers and bikers enjoying the bike path along Cherry Creek’s rippling waters. While mostly residential, its western face boasts an endless string of merchants and services where you can pick up groceries, sit down for a meal, stock up on office supplies, stop by the bank, hit the gym, or even buy a new car. Along the southern edge, I-25 is easily accessible. Virginia Village has seen a surge or redevelopment over the past decade and continues to thrive every year with new construction and new residents.
