Amy came to Colorado from Cape Cod, Massachusetts in 1991 for college. She fell in love with the mountains and knew she would never leave.

While in school Amy was faced with having to find a rental home that would allow her two dogs. No landlord wanted her two dogs so she was forced to purchase her first home at a young age. As luck would have it, she bought in the hot Highlands area. She did very well with her investment. Her profit had a significant positive effect on her financial future.

It was her love of the old Denver neighborhoods and the profound positive affect her first house had on her future that caused her to start her real estate career in 1999. She wanted to help other people make similar smart housing decisions like the one she was so fortunate to have made in college.

Amy partnered with Carol in 2001 and they began selling real estate as a team. While associated with other companies they learned together what it takes to run a smart, successful, real estate practice.

In 2004, Amy and Carol started PorchLight Real Estate Group because they knew the real estate market was changing and they had to change with it or get left behind. They believed passionately that the public deserved consistent, first class service from principled, Denver market experts that give back to their community.

Amy continues to work with clients buying and selling homes because she knows she needs to be in the market to understand it and stay ahead of it. Mostly, Amy derives a lot of pleasure from helping her clients make smart housing decisions.

In her leisure time Amy enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. She is a recreational runner and likes the challenge of participating in races. Her passion is playing in the mountains- hiking, biking, snowshoeing, sledding or just about anything that goes up and down a mountain. It is important to her to be active and stay fit.
