Auraria Real Estate
The Auraria real estate area was primarily a modest residential market for decades, with only some commercial and industrial growth. Thanks to the success of Larimer Square and LoDO to the north, plans for the area were rethought, and the Auraria real estate market began to boom.
The town saw particular growth when the Auraria Higher Education Campus was created in 1977. The campus is a unique complex, home to The University of Colorado Denver, Metro State College, and Community College of Denver.

About Auraria Colorado
In 1858, when the Russell brothers panned seven ounces of gold along South Platte, they founded the new Auraria City. It was named for the Latin word meaning "gold." Auraria's official triangular boundaries are Colfax, Speer and the Platte River.
At the center of the Auraria campus lies the Tivoli, a brewery for over 100 years. The last cold beer was served there in 1966. Today, it's the setting for the student union, and is home to the Starz Film Center, where Denverites can catch the latest independent films while sipping their on favorite golden beverage.
