Originally from Shreveport, Lousiana Carol moved to Colorado after college in 1996. She vacationed in Aspen with her family throughout her childhood. After graduating from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee with a degree in economics she knew that she wanted to live in sunny Colorado. Her real estate career began in 2000. Originally she started behind the scenes, but after a year she wanted to challenge herself and began working directly with clients. In the infancy of her career Carol scoured the Denver market previewing houses, learning neighborhoods, and gathering market data to become a true Denver market expert.
She continues to tirelessly gather and study market data to ensure that she has the highest level of market knowledge to help her clients make smart housing decisions.
Carol partnered with Amy in 2001 and they began selling real estate as a team. While associated with other companies they learned together what it takes to run a smart, successful, real estate practice. In 2004, Carol and Amy started PorchLight Real Estate Group because they knew the real estate market was changing and they had to change with it or get left behind. They believed passionately that the public deserved consistent, first class service from principled, Denver market experts that give back to their community. By harnessing the power of the internet, an expansive marketing plan, a premier location, effective agent training, and efficient systems PorchLight Real Estate Group has become a local, boutique company with the muscle of a much larger company. Carol and Amy are committed to ensuring that PorchLight stays ahead of the curve in Denver’s changing real estate marketplace. Carol continues to work with clients buying and selling homes because she knows she needs to be in the market to understand it and stay ahead of it. Mostly, Carol derives a lot of pleasure from helping her clients make smart housing decisions. In her leisure time Carol enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. You will typically find her biking, hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, or just strolling through Denver. It is a priority for her to be active and stay fit. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
