My real estate philosophy is pretty straight forward. I enjoy helping people. Buying or selling a home is typically the biggest financial decision a person makes, and with big decisions, there is often a fair amount of stress involved. I like to think of myself as a shield for my clients against that stress. With the strength of a massive support team behind me here at Porch light, I am able to dedicate my full attention towards guiding my clients through the exciting peaks and valleys which occur during the process of buying or selling their home.
My approach to real estate is centered around teaching my clients about how the market works and helping them make wise real estate decisions. Prior to becoming an agent, I was an appraiser for 11 years and learned an awful lot about the difference between value and price during that time. I have found as an agent that the unique analytical skill set I developed as an appraiser has enabled me to help my clients get more for their homes than they expected to when selling, and helped some buyers get their offers accepted by sellers, even when theirs wasn't the highest bid. Also, on more than one occasion I have helped buyers purchase their homes below list price, which in Denver's ultra competitive market is in and of itself quite a challenge. I really enjoy being able to share the knowledge I gained in my last career to help people achieve their real estate goals.
