Real estate isn’t a one-size fits all approach. Each and every client has their own needs and wants, and I make it my number one priority to learn my clients’ motivations so that I can tailor my services to their individual needs. In addition to educating my buyers and sellers on current market conditions and guiding them to make smart real estate decisions, I want to build a relationship based on trust and solid communication.
Prior to becoming a Realtor, I spent my first years out of college in leasing and management for one of the largest property management companies in the country. While working at a luxury apartment building in Hartford, Connecticut, I was faced with low occupancy during a time when the economy was struggling greatly. My job was to design a marketing plan that would attract new residents to the building and obtain the rental rates set by the owner.
While the marketing plan was a success, the building continued to have a high turnover rate. As I began to have more interaction with the residents, I found that each had their own individual reasons for calling the building home, and many of their expectations were not being met. By soliciting feedback and building a dialogue with the residents, I was able to implement several programs to satisfy the needs of several of our residents, and resident retention increased at the building by 20%.
I moved to Denver in 2012 and immediately fell in love with the city. After a short time working in the insurance industry, I missed the daily one-on-one interaction with my clients, and I became a licensed real estate agent. As I made the transition into real estate, I applied the same customer-centric approach that I found to be successful during my years in property management.
