Welcome to Potter Highlands
Potter Highlands—along with LoHi and West Highland—is part of the über-hot larger area collectively known as The Highlands. Potter Highlands offers proximity to the city coupled with an established, traditional neighborhood with historic homes—many of which have been beautifully restored.
The Potter Highlands Historic District officially finds its borders at Zuni, 38th, Federal and 32nd, but the neighborhood unofficially extends its southern border to Speer to include even more housing options. This eclectic and ethnically diverse neighborhood includes a burgeoning shopping district at 32nd and Zuni, which offers independent boutiques, hot restaurants, and intimate coffeeshops.
Most of the houses here—largely composed of Victorians, bungalows and duplexes—were built between 1893 and 1939 and they, along with the mature trees lining the narrow streets, create a type of time capsule. If it weren't for the rare ultra-modern house and cars parked in alley driveways, you might think you'd stumbled into turn-of-the-century Denver. Its proximity to both the booming LoHi neighborhood, with its vast array of hip eateries, bars and shops, and downtown Denver, make it a fantastic place to find historic charm combined with modern conveniences.
