Welcome to Regis
With a comforting blend of academia and urbanity, the Regis neighborhood—between 52nd Avenue, I-70, Federal, and Harlan Street—provides students and residents with highway access and convenient commerce. The area takes its name from Regis University—a respected Jesuit college that sits between Lowell and Federal and offers a picturesque setting with plenty of brick and brownstone.
Along Federal, you’ll find retail, restaurants, and hotels. An abundance of green space also graces the area, including the 25.5-acre Inspiration Point Park, which possesses a panoramic view of both the city skyline and the Front Range. Directly west is Willis Case Golf Course, with 18-holes, a restaurant, and a pro shop. Regis is highly residential, and has a diverse collection of homes—from early century bungalows to 1960s era dwellings. A street-side apartment complex along West 52nd provides additional housing options.
Immediately south of Regis, you’ll find both the popular Berkeley neighborhood with its Tennyson Street shops and restaurants, and Lakeside Amusement Park, a Denver family favorite since 1908, featuring old-fashioned wooden roller coasters and affordable prices. With a plethora of opportunities for growth, Regis is a terrific up-and-coming northwest Denver neighborhood.
