Welcome to Columbine West
As a suburb of Denver, on the west side of I-25, Littleton is connected to the rest of the surrounding metro area by the light rail system, making it convenient to get anywhere while being removed from busy pace. Originally, Littleton was a small farming community, growing and supplying food for the rush of gold miners headed west.
These days, history is still apparent with white picket fences separating horse farms and open spaces from main streets and business parks. The Littleton Historical Museum serves as a reminder as well by recreating life on an 1860s farm. Historic Downtown Littleton is also reminiscent of the good ol’ days. Changing with the seasons, it shifts from being a wonderland of lights and snow for winter celebrations to outdoor cafés, markets and festivals in the summertime.
Tree-lined streets, historic buildings and a thriving retail economy make Littleton a suburb rich in character and appeal while still being current and convenient. Home styles vary, as do listing prices, but the average is under $500,000. It all adds up to easy living in Littleton.
