Montclair, CO

On the eastern border of central Denver, the Montclair neighborhood lies between Colfax, 6th Avenue, Quebec, and Holly. Baron Water von Richthofen promoted this area as Denver’s finest residential suburb in the 19th century; it was a collection of homes designed and constructed with unenclosed side porches so Colorado’s clear air could ease residents’ chronic tuberculosis.
